Artisan spotlight : joshua perez

In a world that is becoming more focused on convenience and cost rather than timelessness and quality, we at Rustico are working hard to make leather goods that will last a lifetime. All of our products are crafted the old fashioned way, by hand from quality materials. We realize this may not be the easiest or most convenient way to do business, but we strongly feel that it's the only way to guarantee top quality items.

Behind every leather good is a skilled artisan and years of leather working experience. It's these artisans who make the products unique. It's this process that makes the products timeless. 

We recently had the opportunity to interview our lead designer, Joshua Perez, who is an artisan that takes true pride in his work. During the interview, we got to know Joshua better as an artisan, husband, and father. 

One of the many products that Joshua took the lead on designing was the Journeyman Waxed Canvas Apron as shown below. This piece is a great example of his skill and creativity.
